The tour starts from either an Ine accommodation or the tourist information center, and visits the interior of a boathouse, a local temple, a fishing port, a sake brewery, and the best scenic spot overlooking the bay.

This tour is not just about taking pictures; it’s about fully enjoying the charm of Ine and learning about the life of an old fishing village.

We will meet at our base, the information center, or your accommodation in Ine to start the tour.

Explanation of Ine's history and lifestyle

A local guide will explain the history and unique lifestyle of Ine as a fishing village.

Guided tour inside a boathouse

We will guide you inside a boathouse that ordinary people cannot enter. (Because the boathouses are private homes, ordinary tourists cannot enter.)

Visit to Ine's temple

We will guide you to a temple overlooking Ine Bay. Unlike the large temples in Kyoto, the temples in rural fishing villages have their own unique characteristics.

Sake Brewery

We will visit a 250-year-old sake brewery. The 300-year-old pine tree and the building are beautiful. You can also buy sake souvenirs inside the brewery.

Spot with a panoramic view of Ine Bay

We will go to the best scenic spot with a panoramic view of Ine Bay. The view from there is one of the best in Japan.

Boat tour arrangements OK

For an additional fee, we can arrange a boat tour after the tour. It is also fun to view the boathouses from the sea.
