Nara was the capital of Japan in the 8th century, and Kyoto was the capital from the 9th to the 19th century. For 1100 years, many travelers journeyed along the Yamato Road connecting the two.
You will cycle along this historic ancient road. You will also eat lunch and visit recommended spots in Uji and Wazuka, areas with vast tea fields with 800 years of history, tea temples, and tea villages.
Hotel pick-up service, lunch, E-Bike, and the most delicious matcha in Kyoto are included in the tour price.
This tour allows you to fully experience the history and beauty of Japanese Buddhism and tea.

We are a cycling tour company specializing in private experiences and passionate about Japanese culture and nature.
I'm Kazuki, and I designed this tour.
With this tour, I pursued the theme: "What kind of cycling experience can only be had in Japan?"
I believe I've designed a tour where you can deeply feel and be moved by the very soul of Japan—a fusion of tea, Buddhism, and nature—through the mystique of Nara, the beauty of Wazuka's tea villages, and the splendor of Uji.
As Kazuki says, this tour is the culmination of our Kyoto tours. It's packed with all the hidden gems we've discovered and the wisdom we've gained for visiting famous spots while avoiding crowds.
Without a doubt, we're the only ones who can offer this tour—thanks to our years of experience running tours in Kyoto and maintaining high-performance bikes and support systems.
